Why you should have a web site
There are an estimated 239 million Internet users as of June 2010, which is 77.3% of the U.S. population (International Telecommunication Union). It provides potential clients with a means to learn about you and your business 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. I work with you and your ideas to create a professional web site that showcases your products and services. For more than 10 years, I've been helping people get their businesses online quickly, easily and affordably. Design
The design is the "look and feel" of your site. Although each West Alley designed site is unique, all meet the following criteria: intuitive navigation, aesthetic graphics, concise text, professional look and original design. I work closely with you to develop a concept that will meet your needs. I can either work with and integrate existing advertising and marketing materials or I can create a look based on your personal preferences.
Development
During development, I transform your concepts into a working prototype and work with you to ensure that you are completely satisfied with the finished product. I can meet your site's special needs including:

Domain Name
If you need a domain name (the URL or name of your site), I can help you choose one that's available and reserve it on your behalf. If you already have a domain name you'd like to use, I can set up your site under that name. I can also renew or transfer your existing domain name to a new host.
Hosting and Launch
Once your site is completed, you will need a place to store it (a web site "host") so people can access it via the internet. I can work with your existing host or secure a host at an affordable price. I will set up your account and launch your site with your own domain name, "www.yourbusiness.com". I can also set up your web-based email or forward it to your exisiting email address.
Search Engine Optimization and Submission
In order for you to grow your business, people need to find your site. I will submit your site to search engines and include a site map - a list of pages that make up your site - to inform search engines that your site is accessible for them and other users.
Maintanance
It's beneficial to keep your site current and looking fresh. Updating your site with current information keeps your visitors coming back to see what's new. Your site can be updated with new content, including images and text, as often as you need. If you already have a site and need to add pictures or information, I can make updates to exisiting pages.
